Danbury Duo Caught With Cocaine In Southeast Stop, Sheriff Says

Two men from Danbury have been charged after police say they were caught with cocaine during a stop in Southeast.

Members of the Putnam Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Enforcement Unit (NEU) say they observed two males hunched over inside a vehicle in a parking lot on Danbury Road in the Town of Southeast shortly before midnight on Friday, July 12.

Further investigation revealed that the vehicle’s occupants, Casey Perillo, 33, of Danbury, and Daniel Sacrider, 31, of Danbury, were in possession of cocaine, according to the NEU.

Perillo and Sacrider were arrested, charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and are scheduled to appear in the Town of Southeast Justice Court.
